Diana has over a decade of experience as a film and media studies educator and scholar. Her research focuses on the intersection of stardom, race, and gender. Diana received her PhD from the University of Oregon.
Diana has had the privilege of building programs at impactful arts nonprofits. At Film Streams, the only arthouse theater in Omaha, she was the organization’s first Education Director and later Artistic Director. While there, she collaborated with founder Rachel Jacobson to launch See Change, a gender parity initiative committed to programming 50% women-directed films. Diana was also the Programs Director for The Union for Contemporary Art, a multi-disciplinary space using the arts as a vehicle to inspire positive social change.
Diana is currently a Program Associate at the Weitz Family Foundation.
